CNLC Outdoor LCD Display Projects in Guangzhou: Proven Long-Term Performance
Dec 20, 2025
Guangzhou, China — As one of China’s leading first-tier cities, Guangzhou has continuously advanced the digitalization of public information and urban visual communication. Over the past several years, multiple CNLC outdoor LCD display solutions have been deployed across key public areas of the city and have maintained long-term, stable operation under real outdoor conditions.
Among these projects, 36 units of Outdoor LCD Totem Displays were installed at Guangzhou Flower City Square, a core urban public space. Since commissioning, the displays have been in continuous operation for approximately seven years and remain in normal working condition, supporting public information delivery and digital content display.
Seven-Year Operation of LCD Totem Displays: Real-World Validation in Outdoor Environments
Outdoor displays installed in central urban areas are continuously exposed to challenging environmental conditions, including high temperatures, humidity, strong sunlight, rainfall, and air pollution.
The LCD Totem Displays deployed at Flower City Square were designed specifically for outdoor use, featuring an IP56-rated enclosure, an aluminum-based structural design, and an intelligent thermal management system adapted to changing environmental conditions. These engineering considerations support stable long-term operation under continuous outdoor exposure.
Throughout their service life, the displays have required routine inspections and basic maintenance, mainly including dust filter cleaning, without disrupting daily operation.
Seven years of uninterrupted use provides a clear, verifiable reference for the long-term application of outdoor LCD Totem Displays in urban public spaces.
Pole-mounted Outdoor LCD Displays: City-Scale Deployment with Three Years of Stable Operation
In addition to standalone LCD Totem projects, CNLC’s Pole-mounted Outdoor LCD Displays have also been deployed across multiple public locations in Guangzhou. This project includes approximately 200 units, distributed across different urban sites, and has maintained stable operation for more than three years.
Installed directly onto existing streetlight poles and urban infrastructure, this display format places higher demands on structural integration, environmental protection, and thermal stability. In practical operation, the displays have continued to perform reliably across diverse installation conditions, providing a flexible and efficient solution for public information display.
Case Review: Long-Term Operation as Proof of Engineering Reliability
In the outdoor digital display industry, long-term stable operation is both the result and the measure of effective design and engineering.
The continued operation of multiple CNLC outdoor LCD projects in Guangzhou—across different product formats and service durations—demonstrates the reliability of the underlying structural design, environmental protection strategy, thermal management approach, and maintenance framework in real-world applications.
These projects remain in active operation today and can be visited in Guangzhou for on-site reference and evaluation.
